On Falgun 7, 2064, with sincere and tireless dedication of professionals, a non-profitable radio launched official broadcasting from Lamsure Height, Hetauda as Radio Thaha Sanchar 99.6 FM, under the management and operation of Bindabasini Media Pvt Ltd. It is founded in the memory of Rupchandra Bista (BS 1990- BS 2056), noble anthropologist of the nation. It was inauguratedby the former-Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'. From the date of its inception, this has been the sole radio station of the town which is being transmitted with 1000 watt capacity. A Digital survey done by Equal access, a prestigious international media organization has certified that this radio covers wide range of listeners than any other radios in the district. Besides, we are much privileged to have been the first choice of listeners and advertisers for having high and latest technology and providing quality programs.

Mission of Radio THAHA SANCHAR is to provide fact news and entertainment program service for people living in the areas covered by our signal. We are providing a 21st century quality based radio service. The programs designed to satisfy the needs of those not fully satisfied by other broadcasting media. Radio Thaha Sanchar is “A voice of many voices” offering a wide variety of people an opportunity to share their experiences, concerns, and perspectives with its signal. This Radio reflects as a mirror and echoes the voice to connect its listeners with each other and the world through quality programs.
